Mathematical Kangaroo is an international mathematical competition where over 50 countries are represented. There are twelve levels of participation, ranging from grade 1 to grade 12. The competition is held annually on the third Thursday of March.
Mathematical Olympiads for Elementary and Middle Schools is a worldwide math competition, organized by a nonprofit foundation with the same name. It is held yearly from November through March with one test administered each month. Tests are given at individual schools and results are sent to MOEMS for scoring. Schools, home schools and institutions may participate in the contest. Two dozen other nations also participate in the competition. There are two divisions, Elementary and Middle School. Elementary level problems are for grades 4-6 and Middle School level problems are for grades 7-8, though 4-6 graders may participate in Middle School problems. Hundreds of thousands of students participate annually in MOEMS events.
We have prepared 120 challenging math problems, covering topics including geometric pattern, 3D geometry, etc.. The material is to provide kids with a set of problems which introduces many different problem-solving strategies and excellent for training purposes. Parents and teachers may use these problem sets to aid in reinforcing or teaching math skills in these sets which include answers and logical skills progression.
